The client has a very clear brief – “we want light and space!”  The original ground floor configuration meant a dark and gloomy kitchen, cut off from the rest of the house. It also was far too small for their growing family.

They really wanted a kitchen/dining area that the whole family could use to be together whilst doing different activities. We added a full width extension with three Velux windows to give maximum light and fitted a modern kitchen.

They now have a fabulous, light and airy family living space that is constantly used.
